Greg's Pearl Black GTI [Image Heavy]

Post by gregmkv »

Picked up my May 2016 Polo GTI today, it's specced as follows:
Deep black pearlescent paint
DSG 7 Speed gearbox
17" Parabolica alloy wheels
Titan black alcantara and leather seats
Front centre arm rest
Light & sight pack
Cruise & park pack
Convenience pack
Sport button (which actually feels like it does something and stiffens up the suspension)
Car-Net App-Connect

My plans are:
Change standard wheels over to my brother's R32 Aristos until I get some OZ superturismos
Change over interior bulbs to LED
Lowering springs
Exhaust
Possibly a map

Nice one, just waiting for my black gti ordered 3 weeks ago.
Why would you order a gti with dsg gearbox when a remap is planned? DSG has torque limit which will make any remap less effective...just curious 8)

Car looks amazing... great spec!

As attim says, not many remap options available for the DSG cars yet. I've been in touch with about 20 companies so far and also looked into uprating the physical components of the DSG with no joy yet.

The only option available at present is a remap from MTM down south. Car remaps to 230BHP without exceeding the DSG torque limits (apparently), but it's over £1,200
