Hello to all.
Over the weekend I fitted jom blueline coilovers to my polo 9n. Got everything fitting OK with new shortened droplinks, coilovers are wound all the way down, stock wheels and tyres. The car drives OK. Slight pull to the left but the car is yet to have its tracking done.
The problem is, when you are about to come to a stop there is a horrible noise like creaking or binding. It's hard to explain. From a standstill, you pull away with no noise. It's only when coming to a stop. Even when you coast to a stop not using the brakes. I'm talking very low speed. Like 5mph to a stop.
I though it was mabey the brakes clearing and oil or grease off them from the work getting done but the car had a 20 mile journey this morning and it done it every time coming to a stop. There no touching from the wheels on body work.
Anyone any thoughts or experienced any similar issues.
Many thanks. Darryl

Re: Strange noise when coming to a stop
Turns out the shortened drop links I was advised to get went short enough resulting in the ARB rubbing on the drive shaft. New droplinks ordered from venom. Panic over.
