Hi just joined the forum thought id say hi and upload a pic of my standard 2015 polo se design ..... not too sure what im going to do with it yet .... got a set of genuine 17" vw motorsport alloys going on this week just waiting for the tyres to arrive ..... will post another pic once there on and hopefully get some feedback
I like the SE Design, really nice interior, especially the gloss grey trim and standard footwell lights. Which engine have you got?
Just my opinion but I prefer the original alloys. I think the anthracite Motorsport alloys would have looked better but can imagine in the flesh the black ones look pretty good.
Its the 1.2tsi .... was goin to get the 14tdi but decided against it i work on them quite a bit and in my opinion the 1.2tsi is a good wee engine 90bhp and i easily get 50/60mpg
It was the alloys and the interior that originally made me go for the design over the standard se however got offered these alloys from my work quite cheap compared to the rrp and only had the black ones in stock so jumped at the chance.... the picture doesnt do it any justice il put another one up once its been valeted and hopefully the weathers a bit better .... quite pleased with them myself i prefer it now that they match my mirror caps
Hi thanks i used FK coilovers ... lowered the front by about 30mm and the back by 50mm ive also just had the roof wrapped. your R line looks good mate alloys look good against the black car ... you got any plans for it or just keeping it stock i see its a 16 plate mines is a 15 took me q year to start playing about with it although had installed the helix plug and play sound woofer and amp after about 6 months
Hi, only had this car 2 weeks so just appreciating as is. The colour of the alloys was a surprise to me and yes I to think they look good. Can't do too much to the car as I have it on pcp, but I would like to lower it but not by a huge difference so when I change it it's not blindingly obvious. Would like to try some wheel spacers to give it a wider track. If I do any I will post pics.
Like the black roof, wrapping has changed a lot of what you can do on cars .
Mines is on pcp aswell but i work for a vw dealer so ive worked out what i can get away with.... as for the suspension i have kept all the stock parts so will swap back over when it comes to trade in time .... the roof wrap can add value to the car and as for the wheels i fitted a set to a stock vehicle on the forcourt and they put the price of it up ... the sound system i will be removing as it will fit other vws ... sounds good i do recommend coilovers as you can then set the height to your preference and as for spacers that would be quite good once its lowered how wide would you want to go ..... yeah wrapping has been a game changer for the car scene and you can do so much now so many colour choices etc ..... hope you enjoy your polo as much as i enjoy mine ..... look forward to seeing your car if you do make changes .... i have some stuff still in store for mine so will be uploading some more pictures once its done
