pics of my polo

Post by m193twa »

this is my mk3 polo 1.0 match, i have tinted the front indicators, put in the vw stickers, put 13cm speakers on the rear shelf, the wheels have been sprayed black and i have some 40mm lowering springs on the way,the exhaust is only a tailpipe and i am hoping to get a back box soon. i am only 16 and am getting it ready for when i can drive at christmas :), please tell me what you think and feel free to give ideas..(sorry about blurry pics)...

looks very nice 8)

one of those colours that grows on you the more you look at it.
The only thing i would do is change the front indicators for clear ones.

I quite like the smoked fronts actually, I think it'd look best with smoked sides to match really.. carrying the green and black theme all the way through. Also, perhaps half body coloured bumpers just to finish it off? Nice car so far :)

That 40 quid is a bit steep for clear indicators mate. Try GSF Car Parts (Probably cost you about £20 all in), or Awesome-GTi (around £35 all in), or Martyn@VAGparts on this forum. Personally I think you should keep the smoked indicators and get smoked side repeators as that look is rarely carried out. Nice colour, and the alloys look very good, compliments the car well with the indicators and black badges. Am a bit undecided on the window stickers though :?

ooooohhhhhh....... it looks the same colour as mine! :D

it looks good, although i like the black/green combo (goin for something similar) i think clear indicators wood look better. & either smoked or green side repeters!

Yeah same here, I've got a green car and am going for the black/green effect although I think i might just "restore the car" at this point. Pictures will follow from the bodyshop tomorow if your lucky. I've got b4 and after pictures of what the guys doing on the digital camera  . But I think I'm gunna have to wax or just clean it on Saturday. Feels weird not having only having one car on the drive :?

Oh and I think I've just found 2more NZ's on my road ... Well one at the pub at the end of the road and one accross the road from it. There both square backs but ones a REALLY nice shade of minty green kind of thing. And the other ones white (boohoo) The only reason I say that is there on H reg plates....

You can buy smoked repeators too. Leave the rear lights as they are, and I reckon that will look mint. Unless you get a european spec set of lights, and try and go symetrical

once thats lowered mate that will look wel smart, nice one. :D
i like the smoked indicators, wanted the same for mine but couldnt be bothered with spraying them. personally i think you should stick with them and just get a set of smoked side repeaters, but at the end of the day its what you wanna do that counts...

I'd say go for clear indicators, makes the front look alot cleaner, simple and modern. 40mm springs should be good. Once you've got a job an that you can get some nice low profile rubber and go another 30mm ontop of your 40mm  I just sold my clear indicators for £10, got them of ebay for £20 (£25inc P&P) and they were pretty decent ones. The rear lights look good as they are. As for the side repeaters, I'd go with black ones cause green ones always look cheap and tacky too me!

Get some GT/G40 arches on it and your sorted laddy! Loving the colour by the way!
