Weld some more metal on and spray it?

Yeah they weld a piece of metal to the end of the bonet, smooth it, then respray the bonet.

Won't it be a pain to reach the bonnet catch with that in the way though?

yes.... but thats not the point

think of how much cash you have to throw at it to acheive that look... with a car thats probably worth all of a grand :lol: tis not about practicality or value

It just goes over the headlamps and grille. Its just basically a bit of metal welded on the end of the bonnet. In very very simple terms that is. It needs to be cut, shaped, blended, primered painted and probably other things too.

sometimes, u have to give up practicality for looks! another example would have to be speed bumps with lowered suspension :evil:
