Have you tried with the central locking?

Yes this description says the position lights are on when the Doors are locked. This does not work for me so far.
Maybe it's a setting intended for countries/times with little light.

Do you need the new one or used will be OK?
As a rule on eBay.
The cheapest prices for used parts I have ever seen is on allegro.pl. But unfortunately not many sellers are ready to ship the items by international mail. So you need to contact the seller at first.

I have one spare BCM 7E0937090/ZHH, I could sell. it is new but I tried to install it on my Polo when I search the ways to fix my LED headlights issue

I can buy it, but BCMs on allegro.pl often come from Germany or Austria, and sellers doesn't know any info about car version.. :|
I asked many sellers, but still has not got any response about the version of the car from which is the BCM.. :(

The BCM that has Alexander (7E0 ZHH) does not work properly with DRL from LED headlights.
Perhaps all the new products support LED light? I didn't know about this risk, when I ordered my BCM .

The only information I found is that this BCM: http://allegro.pl/show_item.php?item=6537714650 is from VW T6 CARAVELLE 2.0 TDI manufactured in September 2016 (S0736, H80, SME-RBG11.01.1600051185).
There is no info about PR Code (it must be a Z4Y for the maximum options, like ciclo's BCM.)

There are new 7E0 BCMs with the latest software (7E0 937 090B), it is very important to check the PRoduction codes.
ImageHmm ... perhaps I could buy a new one with B last digit from the VW dealer (as ever ) to my R-line... if I get to sell my new 7E0 BCM Z4Y.

They has the identical firmware. The differences is in EEPROM, it is the part of firmware which defines BCM functionality.
But the Z4Y is better, because it has EEPROM for much more functions than ZHH.

This information only Ciclo could say.
As I have got, he choose the BCM according ETKA, with as more PR codes as possible.

benzinkopf, more functions to make more mods :) , if it's posible. IIRC you have to start by making the wiring loom for BCM Max (at the end)

IMHO... currently the best BCM for ours 6R (433MHz) Europe... 7E0937090B 07W (Top options) PR codes: 8IT, 7Y1, A8M, A8Z, etc... it's just like the one I have but 2017 Model Year.

Guys! Need your expertise and help with my next project.

I'm thinking of making use of Seat Heater button(left) - (we dont need heater here in Asia) to activate/switch on the interior lighting. Since the button got two steps (for heating) i plan to make the first step to switch on the footwell lights, then the second step to switch on all the above(roof) lightings.

Is this possible my dear ciclo vs vw diagram? pls

What is the reason for this installation? What is the result you want to achieve?

This button has not two steps itself. It has one contact pair and two yellow lights. The seat heating power is changing by J744 seats heating control module.
