Rod_MX, this last conversation belongs only to the creative phase, which can be a total disaster for many reasons.

However and for example, the 6C infotainment system is connected in the same CAN-bus as the Instrument cluster...
Would be great to have the CAR menu button in our 6R

To retrofit abs to Esp, you will need to change ABS module to Esp module, and change steering ring to steering ring with steering wheel angle sensor. And some little parts...
Take into account
Polo 6R till June 2012 came with ABS or ESP with the control unit Bosch version 8,2. After that time it comes 9,0 version. Anyway I don't think you can get the new ESP8,2 unit, I suppose used only. The good news there is possible to install ESP9,0 instead of Abs8,2 but it will take some additional operations to change wires position in ABS/ESP socket
There couple reports for Russian Polo 6R sedans

ABS8.2 to ESP9.0

ABS9.0 to ESP9.0

If saying in a few words, yes. The main thing is the whole ABS module changing.

If to add some more details: I installed the steering ring with angle sensor, connected it, marked in 19Gateway. Added two wires to the ABS socket (from ESPoff button and Rka reset button), installed these buttons, change two brake fluid tubes from master cylinder to ABS Pump, change ABS module to ESP module (I took new one) with another bracket. Set the new module coding in. Profit.

yes exactly, I understand.
i'm just wondering whether the old abs pump can stay (since it is a different part) or you change only the control module and leave the old ABS pump.

recently someone asked me about upgrading from ESP 8.2i to ESP 9.0i, since he wants to fit the WRC brake kit (F 312x22mm, R 256x2mm) and I could not answer for sure.

In case retrofit Abs to Esp there needs to change the whole module for sure. The ABS' hydraulic part has more simple design, because it can only avoid wheels block, but the ESP hydraulic unit can press the separate wheel brake itself.

As for Esp 8,2 and Esp 9,0 hydraulic parts, I am afraid there are differences also. And I think the less risk is to change the whole module also.

Hello,
I have a Polo 6c 2016 1.2 TSI (90 HP) Bluemotion for Israeli market.
My question is:
If i will try to activate ( and then deactivate) features with VAG-Ross the importer can know about this ?
Will be logged in car soft as " last change/save" ?
We have 3 years warranty and a mandatory inspection every each year/15k km.
The problems is with warranty

Second question is how the battery/starter/ flywheel tooth's, starter drive gear etc. endurance for this multiple starts ?
Usually i start my car on beginning and end of each drive not 10 time in the city.
At the end of all is mechanics which will wears out quickly.

Thank,
Dino

NO. All that's an urban legend. :)

Only the factory has the original coding log of your car. Any importer can modify it before the car is delivered to the new owner and this action does not produce a log anywhere. So...
These modifications of codings (software) can be made at the request of the customers or as a good detail by the dealer/importer.
There is no problem with the warranty. VCDS is the best program to encode new features, I would say that much better than the official VW program. ODIS currently.

As for second question:
Bluemotion systems are prepared to last the life of the vehicle. You should not worry about the number of times the start/stop system works.
However, there are certain pieces that have an obsolescence prepared, sometimes it is logical and normal and other times not , and also by other hand everything has an entropy in this life that no one can get rid of.

I must point that although I am certain of some things my opinion is irrelevant.

I've finally replaced the 6R0 BCM with the 7E0 BCM.

Currently I have some small issues that I'm looking into:

- Highbeam stalk is not working. It's working if I pull the stalk agains me. Then the high beam is on. If I push away (and it automatically goes back into normal position) from me nothing happens. I've replaced the original with "7E0 953 507 B 9B9". I've can't find any measuring blocks where I can see if it works or not. Any ideas? Do you know what wires that it's using?

- Keys... I've adapted both keys and in the measuring blocks I can see that all 6 buttons (2 x 3 buttons) are working/registered, however I can only unlock the car and use the "trunk"-button in the middle. The "lock"-button is not working.

Any ideas on the 2 above issues? And the one below... :-)

The wire from pin 6 (camera) / diode - should it be connected to this 'pin' on the interior light ?
