Hi all,
I'm almost ready to purchase a brand new GTI but there is one thing that is bugging me - the reduced boot space in the GTI over other Polos.
Can any GTI owners who have children tell me if you find it a pain to fit in a buggy (if you can even fit it in at all!)
I know that it's nice to think that a GTI is just about having fun, but unfortunately it has to be practical too!
Thanks!

Re: Boot space in the 6C GTI
Can just about fit a buggy (grandkids) into the boot but nothing else at the same time with the cover in place. It is a squeeze to fit two suitcases in for a holiday.
Re: Boot space in the 6C GTI
Owning the gti comes together with careful choice of buggies and luggage. That means that you buy them after you measure them to the last ...cm
. Nevertheless, bootspace is a drawback, but this cannot prevent you from buying the gti

Re: Boot space in the 6C GTI
Thanks for the replies. I've just seen the "Babyzen Yoyo 0+" buggy/pushchair and considering it's small enough to store in an overhead locker on a plane, I think the Polo GTI's boot will be able to handle it!
Looks like we'll soon be gti owners!

Comparing a Polo to a jet liner. Like the way you think!

Re: Boot space in the 6C GTI
I have a dog guard in my 6C Gti and it means I can actually fit quite a lot of stuff in the rear as it can't fall over the rear seats if you get me.
