I'm considering a Polo Gti as my next car and I like the idea of one with a panoramic sunroof, but I have a concern with this as to if I will lose any headroom?
The dealer I went to didn't have a Polo with the sunroof so I couldn't check this out.
Can anybody confirm one way or the other if I need to be concerned?
Thank you.

If anything you get a bit more headroom.
Clarification ....with the sunroof.

Surprisingly, most options don't add that much, if anything, to a car's value when the time comes to sell, especially if you're selling to the motor trade (part exchanging, or selling to the likes of We Buy Any Car). Might be slightly different for a private sale, when a well optioned car might be seen as a more attractive purchase compared to a car of the same make/model but in standard spec.habib_123 wrote:but won't sunroof give better resale value?

When you sell back to a dealer or the likes of we buy any car, they only put in the milage and engine so they never take into account spec, you can sometimes make more out of selling it yourself or if you're friendly with you dealer they'll give you better than market value.SRGTD wrote:Surprisingly, most options don't add that much, if anything, to a car's value when the time comes to sell, especially if you're selling to the motor trade (part exchanging, or selling to the likes of We Buy Any Car). I'd look for a car with a sunroof even at their premium it's just something to enjoy on a sunny day

Indeed the sunroof gives you slightly more cubic inching inside.

Re: Panoramic Sunroof vs. Headroom
I have a panoramic sunroof and will have to say, I am enjoying the extra light that it lets in. I keep the sun visor drawn back on these dull days. In terms of headroom, you won't be loosing any, if anything gaining a bit more.
