Polo 6N2 GTi clutch

Hi

I'm running a 6N2 GTi 2000 MY, 127000 miles. Its clutch has finally died, other than that it run very sweetly

Getting quotes of £350 to 400 to replace the clutch. Am on the Wilts/Hants border, any ideas where I can get a reliable lower quote?

Gearlink in salisbury can probably do it. They are normally quite well priced

Theres some good garages in Poole, but probably too far for you.

Make sure you ask what manufacturer of clutch will be fitted and check back here. I know from bitter experience how variable the quality can be

What makes would you say are good or not so good? Seen ones I've never heard of before!
