Thanks spacewalker, but those instrument clusters do not fit (physically) in the 6R dashboard hole, however there are others ICs from Skoda Fabia (RS? MK2?) that fit perfectly.

There is one report of installing the Maxidot cluster from Fabia to Polo

They had to provide some cutting procedures to fit Fabia's internals into the Polo's body

There is another report from the one of the Russian greatest experts concerning Vag electronic units.
https://www.drive2.ru/b/1873292/
Here the author compared the Polo and Rapid cluster internal and made the conclusion they are almost the same

Also he provided experiments with color display cluster from PQ35 models

Yes, I've read. Thank you for "placing the seeds" for drawing a keen interest of Polo owners. Hope it will be successfull. But now we don't have full process of flashing the new door units to provide this idea to the total offer. It needs some time.

Yes, I know. Really I already knew all this matter of IC for 6R Diesel, etc ... since a long time. What happens is that people ask me a lot about these issues, ...so, in this way, everything is perfectly explained.

Thank you very much to both for all these clarifications, sure that somepeople (with low budgest, or not) will resquest it and need help... from the experts.

In this way, those interested in automatic folding mirrors (with remote) can wait for the WRMs OEM are available. ... and do not do a 'NO OEM' installation.

Yes, but it would need a software adaptation ... from the experts in this issues, e.g spacewalker.

T5.1 won't fit as buttons are on the outer edge not in the center like polo

But the T6 cluster fits inside the T5.1 casing, I just tried [emoji16], now hopefully I can get a 3D colour T6 cluster in my T5.1
