Hei iichel. Until I receive the new relay tomorrow, I’ve decided to check the BCM connection, just by removing the grounding first, which in turn, should trigger an error in the autoscan ( I guess ). Removed it, and the autoscan return an “Open or Short to Plus” error on the “Headlight Washer Module”.
That rules out the bad BCM connection. Leaves the relay and the fuse to check again tomorrow afternoon.

Re: [DIY] Polo 6C Headlight Washer Retrofit
OK, so back at it again
Received the new relays and sockets just yesterday. Replaced the old one, which I thought is broken, replaced the fuse with another one ( 30AMP ) from the fuse carrier, which I know for sure works.
Result is, still not working ...
I connected the fuse wire directly to the positive of the pump, just to check if the fuse and pump are ok, guess what, works fine
TROUBLESHOOT
GND wire from relay is connected correctly ( since the Open or Short to Plus is no more after plugging it into the relay which only leaves me with faulty "coding" ...
I have 17.8 Stable version of VCDS, which unfortunately, to this date, does not have ECU coding information for my model, unless I hit "Accept sending experimental data etc". Only then, it would show some options, most of them not even translated, either way, went on to Byte 13, Bit 4, unchecked the so-called Headlamp washer, installed, saved it, then checked it back, and saved again, hopefully it would do something ... but it doesn't trigger the relay.

I really think the BCM is not triggering the relay switch ... I just don't know what to do in this case .. Sent autoscan and adaptations map to Ross-Tech, hopefully they will get my BCM supported as well.. though I've seen others with same part number supported ..
Any advice ? I've checked all the wiring ... everything is ok ... Is there any way to check if BCM is sending current down the wire ? I have a bought small volt meter UNI-T UT20B, trying to figure out how can I use it to check if BCM is sending current down the wire ..

Re: [DIY] Polo 6C Headlight Washer Retrofit
This has finally been fixed thanks to iichel's 09 adaptation map on the RossTech forums
Seems like the next adaptation channels would need set as follows:
This proved to be a bigger fuss than anticipated, and with it, I've finished my first DIY retrofit ever.
Seems like the next adaptation channels would need set as follows:
