Evening all,
Apologies for double posting, but it looks like the ICE section of the forum has less footfall than this section.
I have a 3dr 9N which has only two front door speakers fitted. I'm looking to upgrade the sound and fit speakers in the rear panels. My questoin is whether there is already wiring to the rear speaker grills or if this must be fitted?
Thanks,
Colin

Thank you Alex,
Would you know if there was a "how to" on the site for wiring?

Re: Rear speaker wiring in 3dr
I dont beleive there is
The process is fairly straight forward however youll need to run speaker wires from the doors, behind all the trims then up behind the dash to the radio then terminate them into either an ISO adapter block or via repair wires into the existing ISO plug thats there.
How handy are you with electrics etc?

Hi Alex,
I'm not illiterate, but I'm more uncertain of the paneling and the route to take. I have a feeling that the panels won't be flush afterwards, etc.

The panels arent too hard to remove, but some of it is a little awkward and like you say, refitting isnt the easiest if you havent done it before. Doorcards are difficult enough just for starters.
