Hello from NZ!
I've recently picked up my first GTI, a nice 9N3 Polo GTI.
Currently getting to grips with it and enjoying driving it.
Over here these cars are pretty rare, especially being a manual. Most cars are twice the size, Japanese and auto...so nice to have something a bit different.
The only issue with that, is parts and advice can be a little tricky to find so thought I would sign up here after a google search to see how you guys in the UK handle things.
My Car was 'Born' in Germany, raised in Japan before then being imported into NZ.
It's name is Minti...like the polo:

My step-daughter named my Polo 'Minty' - for the same reason. Great minds think alike!

Great looking Polo, Minty. I love the black color with those red details. Looks very effective. You planning to install any modidications on it?Teutonic_Tamer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:59 pm Welcome - antipodean friend! Dive headfirst into the use of Viasil and the forum and get involved.
