I've seen a few without R-Line logo for sale, so the same flat bottom steering wheel with the correct buttons. Just no R-Line logos.

If i get the same steering wheel, just with the cruise control bettons fitted too, will I encounter problems? Or will just the cruise control buttons not do anything since my car doesn't have it?

probably yes, but you're now entering the part of cruise control retrofitting on the 6C, a topic that many of us are not very experienced in.

Hi
Sorry to hijack about the auto-headlight loom again.
I have made the loom as per your instructions and all of the outputs from the headlight switch seem to be working ok.
Everything is working apart from the main beam.
DRL, fog lights, sidelights are all working, high beam works when i pull forward on the stalk, but I have no dipped headlights and high-beam won't work when i push the stalk back into the 'high beam on' position.
Is there some coding i need to do to make this work via the BCM?
Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Gray

please post a VCDS autoscan.
do you hear a 'click' (from the headlight relay) when you switch from parking lights to dipped beam?

I'll post one shortly.
No, there is no click.
Is it possible I have made a mistake with the loom? If so, where would be the best place to start looking?
Thanks

could be coding, could be a mistake in the wiring loom.
T73a/1 connector is seated?
T73a/1 to headlight relay, wire is OK?
headlight relay is properly seated in relay holder?
headlight relay has good mass?

Coding could also be wrong. Hence the autoscan :)

Yes.
Post an autoscan and I'll codify your BCM.

Hi I use an old windows laptop for VCDS which has a broken network card. I can't get a full scan onto my Mac to post it.

I'll try and find a USB pen drive to transfer it over.

Can you do anything with my BCM coding for now?

I'd try something like this, but I'm not sure what the part number of your BCM is.

B0A03DBA0EE1241193284E116EAB8E55F080650F60842040320000000000

you can have a look at byte 23 bit 0, if that makes a difference, but I think it's only for BCM 7H0 937 090B/7E0... but ciclo is better in this than I am.

What I've noticed, there are not shown the rear disk brakes for that 2018 Polo. But there are 2 possible sizes of the rear drum brakes: 203x38 (PR-1KG) and 228x42 (PR-1KA). How such things could be?
I understand with "little" engines there is no need to have more effective rear brakes. But another option with bigger drums, that is laughing thing for me.
I suppose there are not fully filled the lists with all parts and it definitely should be the rear disk brakes for the "hot" versions (at least I hope that) but now it looks funny.
Few weeks ago I test-drove a new Polo (AW) ComfortLine 1.0 TSI 95hp with 256mm front discs (ATE/Teves calipers) and 232mm rear discs (Lucas/TRW calipers).
So, rear discs are installed only on some engines. I guess ETKA VW database still need to be updated.
If you select Seat brand and look into brakes section of the new Ibiza, you'll see the rear discs brakes that will be installed on the new Polo as well.
