BTW, the hazard lights button illumination can be clearly seen in the previous video of the VIM. It's possible with (from) BCM 7E0937090B.

Hi guys, today i found out that if locking the car with one or more interior lighting switch ON and open glovebox with the glovebox light ON, all the lights will be flashing together with hazard button and MFD showing/flashing the front pax door open? is this normal?

If im not mistaken, before, even if i switch on any interior lights, once I lock the car remotely, it will still shut off all the lights.

Hi benzinkopf, it is not normal, take a video and show us that behavior of your interior lights. Please...
Seriously, take the video, it will be fun for the future.

Although we have to take into account that you have made some installations that they aren't normal and of which we do not have a detailed information in your topic (Bixenon headlights with T10 connectors, door warning lights, etc...)

The interior light that you turned on manually stays on for a while (15 minutes or so) once you lock the car with remote.

Hi Ciclo.
Yes. Now I’m sure its not normal and I found the culprit for the funny disco light. Heres the video!

https://youtu.be/APFIeAFJNN8

Btw, Ive reverted back to original H7 headlights now as I’m going to install the complete Bixenon/ALWR by next 2 weeks. Parts just arrived.[emoji41]

The only mod left is my testing on Door Exit/Warning Light in the front passenger Door. This is the culprit, thats why the MFD is showing the front passenger door is open. This ONLY happen when I lock the car with interior light switch ON. After i took out the Door Light module, everything will be switch off like normal (directly after lock, not after 15mins like u said)

I just found out this error because I managed to install the glovebox light and I tested to lock the car with open glovebox to make sure the light to go off when I lock the car.

I’m suspecting the ground wire for the door contact is not the right one so I have to check again.

Just opened my door panel again to check the wiring.

here’s the door lock T8 connector from my front passenger door

Image

1) There re actually 7pins inside the connector and there’s only 6 wires available. According to the diagram, pin 7 is connected to bcm T73b/28. (unless im referring to the wrong diagram)

2) I connect the GND wire from the door light to Wire Pin 2, which is Green/White. With this, the light only switch On when door is open, but this brings me to the disco light issues.

The positive wire is connected to the same positive from footwell, interior lighting, glovebox etc.

Thanks a lot for your time Ciclo. Really appreciate it. But, Ive test connected the ground wire to the wire pin5, but the light still switch ON after door close. Thats why i tried pin2 and it works (i thought earlier)

Well, I have reviewed the diagrams of all the 6R models that I have (I do not have the diagrams of your 6R, built in South Africa plant).

It is not the same pin assignment for all 6R models, that's why you should use the multimeter to locate the pins for your front passenger door contact switch.
