Polo 6C rear number plate lights

May I add to the discussion, concerning Polo 6R (I know the thread is about the 6C) it will need a small VCDS adjustment. I cannot speak for the 6C though.

Nah, doesn't need it. I bought LED replacements for my 6C as well, they came with those resistors for the canbus error, but to my surprise, I've tried installing them without, worked just fine. For my own sake, I still changed the load type in the end, but either way, it worked just fine without.

Just fitted these to my 6C, bulb warning light appears on dash however bulbs do work.

Same result here - warnings up on the dash, which is a shame because the light is brilliant. Off to find some with resistors...

i'm sure there a setting just to tell it you have LED number plate lights.

Hmm I never knew this...wonder where it would be on how to do it on VAGCOM...
