Dead spot assist is indeed available. Lane keeping assist, I'm not so sure.

I know I keep telling the forum about things I have read in the Auto Express, but in 8th - 14th August 2018. There is an article on "The price of safety"
In which they say "How much will it cost to add key safety options to your car". And the Volkswagen Polo is one of the cars in the list

Autonomous emergency braking = Std
Blind spot warning = £255 * (don't ask me what the stars for, I've looked though the article and I cannot find the answer)
Lane keeping assistance = N/A

As with the larger Golf, VW's latest Polo comes with a standard AEB system that works at city speeds and can detect pedestrians. Lane-keeping assistance is reasonably priced at £255, and brings with it rear traffic alert, which scans behind the car when reversing and sounds a warning if an obstacle is detected, before applying the brakes.
Curiously though VW doesn't offer lane-keeping assistance with the Polo

So there you have it. The Polo doesn't have Lane assist
