How does that compare to PCP rates for same car?
I wonder whether the lease companies have just had a load of "must register before Sept for WLTP compliance avoidance" cars at a good rate to put out as leasers.

beats 1.0 TSI 95PS 5-speed Manual
10,000 miles
36 months
£185 month with a £3,537 deposit
Or with a £1500 deposit, monthly = £245
So, CVL is a good deal

Looking at the VW website and considering you can get £3100 off inclusive of the £1000 deposit contribution to offset a large portion of the £3537 deposit, coming in at £1437 out of your own pocket and you're paying
£1437 down + 35 x £183 with 10k miles pa on PCP
vs
£1500 down + 35 x £167 with 8k miles pa.
If you need 10k miles pa, those extra 6k mikes over term are going to cost you about £420 more over the term, equivalent to £12 a month, add in the equivalent £2 a month off for the cheaper pcp deposit if you get a brokee deal and you're only £2 a month worse off to pcp. Consider you'll likely have an "equity" hook to encourage you into another pcp and it doesn't seem a great deal. I have based my calculations on a manual 95ps beats with DTD broker price, as I couldn't find any indication that the leaser was DSG.

Seems significantly worse than PCPing with a broker sized deposit (£2600 discount) on a GTI not a GTI+.
On PCP you'll pay £19k for a no options GTI with discount, and with a GFV of about £10500 at 3 years, you'll lose a max of £8500 over 36 months. Most likely £7750 as i'd expect at least £750 equity towards another.
£8500 over 36 months is equivalent to £5667 over 24 months like the lease is and you'll get 10k miles pa not 5k miles pa.
