1.0 tsi 95PS tuning info

Evening all

My partner has just taken delivery of her 1.0TSI 95PS Polo.

I have already installed a K&N panel filter, but was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of other DIY mods. I’ve googled but can’t seem to find anything for the 2018 AW model.

Also, can anyone confirm if this model has a charge cooler? I’m used to Turbo’d cars with intercoolers but can’t find one on this car.

It has charge cooling.

There is a wealth of overview tech manuals available, for the VW engines, gearboxes etc. This one is for the 1.0TSI EA211 unit.

Unless you're looking to spend serious money on ancillary hardware or a remap/tuning box, theres not much scope to add more than 1 or 2 hp. Remap/box will probably yield another 20ps, to which most people would wonder why not go for the 115/116ps unit which will be far easier and cheaper to insure than a modified 95ps unit. The injectors are smaller on the 95ps unit and likely the turbo too .
