I used to own the previous Fiesta ST a few years ago. Cracking little car it was too but now I’m older, more creaky and prefer the laid back Polo SE DSG.

It doesn't give much confidence when they can't even report the correct number of gears. 'Having seven gears to the Fiesta’s six keeps its engine boiling at peak power for longer...' what??

.....and this is the first review I've seen which suggests the Mk 8 ST has a WORSE ride than the Mk 7, which is what really put me off that version.
