Polo arrived today! (NZ RHD)

Hi guys!

Just thought i would share my pics and that my Polo GTI arrived today! Very excited
Was very lucky i think due to lesser regulations for us, ordered 9th June and arrived to the dealer yesterday.
Got a ceramic coating done inside and out

Lovely reef blue colour.
Nz standard options are: nav 8", auto headlights LED front/rear, auto wipers, auto aircon, adjustable sport suspension.
added extra's: Rubber boot liner, 18" mag wheels, 10.25" infotainment digital cluster

Also i believe mine is one of the first "2019" revision. Not sure what differences there are, but one was the rear usb ports (pictured) as (at least in nz) 2018 model does not have this.

Can't wait to take for a good long drive!
Considering getting a Gloss black roof wrap and side mirrors wrap - undecided.

Looks great Poacherson! . Reef Blue seems to be a bit of a divisive colour and some don’t consider blue as an appropriate colour for a GTI.

Colour is always a very personal thing, but I think Reef Blue really suits the GTI and contrasts well with the red GTI accents. I might be slightly biased on the colour though, as my previous generation GTI is Blue Silk! .

The fastest Audi "S" and "RS" tended to have a similar type of blue - it is almost "Nogaro Blue" - I could live with that colour quite easily.

That USB "pack" looks like you could order in a retro-fit set of bits, so an easy update for charging/power points in the back.

Hi mate, picked up my SE Polo today and i ordered it with the armrest, it too had the USB ports in the back. Must be a MY2019 change.

The USB ports in the back are a bonus. When I have the kids in the back I have usb cables running from an adapter in the 12v socket in the centre console to their tablets.

Thanks everyone! Been clocking up some kms for the run in so far so good.

Also did a little research, so the turbo is a ihi is20 turbo, same turbo thats in the mk7 gti which is interesting! Boost psi reading online they peak around 17-18psi. One thing i noticed with the screen performance car feature is it reads including atmosphere pressure (which is around 15psi). I may look into seeing if it can be adjusted (pretty sure its not running 30 psi lol)

Hi from another NZ owner (red) and thanks to this forum I realise I have the 2019 version too.

I am posting about the audio system as I can't find the info I need on this anywhere - I realise NZ specs may differ from the UK. I don't have the Beats option, it is not available in NZ on the GTI at least.

It sounds like the car has a subwoofer but I can't find it - the manual says there is one in the rear by the spare wheel but there isn't. OK the manual is for all version of the car I guess. I read there is one in the door - can anyone verify this?

What brand are the spearers and has anyone replaced them (my model has six)? At first I wasn't that impressed with the sound but they have improved a bit after two days driving

The manual says you can play .m4a files from USB/SD but I can't - but MP3 are OK - anyone have any info on this?
