I am fitting VW Racingline black paddles this week, will post photo
Nice Peter would love to see them!
I will definetly show them [emoji16]
For now detailing is happening + front upper grill part and mirror covers wrapping in black

Other than your modifications, it looks like the same car that I have ordered, a standard red + with Parker wheels.
How does it feel?
I test drove one with the Berescia wheels, or whatever they are called, is there much of a noticeable difference?

Hi, no idea how it drives on 18 inch, in Poland these 17 inch are called Milton Keynes or something like that. For now on winter tyres it seems ok, like a small gokart however I havent pushed it to the limit that much.
It’s not unusual for a specific design of VW alloy wheel to have different names in different markets. The five hole ‘pepper pot’ design of alloy fitted to the mk6 Golf GTI is known as the Monza or Monza Shadow (diamond cut version). In the North American market, the same design of wheel is the Detroit.
Milton Keynes does seem a strange choice of name for the Parker alloy though, but then Parker is also a strange name for a wheel design fitted to the performance model of the Polo!
I wonder if VW have a room full of highly paid marketing personnel whose sole aim is to come up with weird names for wheel designs?
My GTI+ was due to be built this week (build week 5, commencing 4th February). The VW app and the VW tracker website still says ‘Build Week Confirmed’ and hasn’t move onto ‘Build in Progress’. Is that normal? Do the trackers take time to update? I assume if the build week is confirmed it is always built that week (I.e. my car is probably assembled now and I might receive it within a year of ordering it ).
I'm sure I've seen it mentioned on here that some people's trackers jumped from 'Build Week Confirmed' to 'In Transit'. Hopefully it's been built by now and is just waiting to be shipped!

Thanks.
It has been known for the tracker to jump a few steps after not updating. If it's been built, it might end up reporting stage 5b (in transit). There's always the possibility that it hasn't been built because the week isn't over yet (potentially, I've no idea if the plant is working 7 days a week or just 5).

Meant to add...hardly suggests glamour and sophistication. [emoji3]

Brilliant! Its a funny old world, a bit like Berghaus clothes etc (I have a couple of jackets and fleeces) - a made up name by UK company, probably laughed at by Germans/Swiss etc.
I saw a well used Honda Civic, as normal dropped to the ground and megawatt sound system fitted in Ypres - and it had a banner across the back which read MORON!

Seen worse than that - on holiday in Mexico, a lad called Ryan had the words s**t-BONK tattooed across his back, from shoulder to shoulder, lettering about 4" tall. His missus got him to do it as a drunken bet.

Ordered my GTI+ in May last year and have been reading this forum since. Had a build date of w/c 04/02/2019 since November and this morning my tracker jumped to stage 5....... absolutely over the moon. Very good start to the weekend.
Decided to buy a Gti + yesterday, managed to pick up an order that some one cancelled. Delivery late March, Flash Red, 18" wheels and a few other extras.

Good choice. Mine is a Flash Red GTI+ with Brescias (which I wanted), NAV and Rear Camera (which I didn't) - again as a grab on a cancelled order. Delivery late March suggests it has just been built.
Swapping our Golf R for a second GTI+ (to be built next month), colour is such a dilemma as we don't want 2 red ones, and the red is by far my favourite of the choices. We went for Pure White in the end for the second one, my second favourite of the poor choice of GTI colours (would've gone for reflex Silver if available).
The Flash Red is glowing today - you won't be disappointed.

Congratulations JimBob23. I also ordered my GTI+ last May and have just received notification that it’s now in stage 5 (built and now in transit). Feels like a major milestone
The tracker has a message saying ‘on average it takes 4 weeks from build for this model to reach your retailer’, but that sounds a little ambitious.
Congratulations to you too Martin-GTi. How have you spec’d yours? I’ve not done much myself...... just gone for Reef Blue, Brescia alloys and deep iron dash.
I also noticed the 4 weeks delivery time to the dealer which would be great but I’m telling myself 8 weeks so I’m not disappointed by the end of week 4!
