Bluefin 1.0 95

Post by wabbit1 »

Hi all,

Has anyone bought and installed a Superchips Bluefin on their 1.0 95 Polo?

Apparently gives a power increase to 132bhp and 161lb/ft

Any feedback would be appreciated 👍🏻

I haven't installed a 'chip' but in the process of having my it remapped, and they quite 130.

My only fear is a weak clutch.

Someone else has had theirs mapped too. If you search 130 you should find it.

Are you sure they do bluefin for this model, the AW model?
Last time I looked they didn't and I wasn't sure or convinced bluefin for a previous model would work.
EDIT, they only offer it for the MK6.
If it's exactly the same engine and ECU in the AW then it should obviously work, but I'd need assurances from Superchips.

It’s a handset they supply with an updated map on it, not a chip as in the old school superchip 👍🏻

I’ll email them with the car reg and double check it will work on a 68 plate one.

Thanks

I think I'll go with a tuning box, as they're much cheaper than bluefin.

I emailed this company ages ago and they confirmed it will work on the AW.
