Golf headlights on polo

Hello i was thinking if golf headlights are compatible with the polo . Tell me your thoughts . Thanks

I’m intrigued to know why you’re asking. Were you considering fitting Golf headlamp units to a Polo? The Golf headlamp units are a different size and shape to those fitted to the Polo, and so is the aperture that they’d need to be fitted into on the Polo, so they won’t be compatible / won’t fit the Polo.

On some of the Golf forums, it’s been discussed that even the headlamp units from the current ‘face-lift’ (mk7.5) Golf aren’t interchangeable with headlamps on the pre-facelift (mk7) Golf, even though externally, the mk7 and mk7.5 Golf essentially look the same, apart from some cosmetic changes. So, getting them to fit a completely different car would be a non-starter.
