Re: Parts to buy
If you're in the UK an armrest is available from TPS (VW trade part supplies) cost is around £330. Well, mine was in the off-white colour.zdenek_kalok wrote:Anyone know were to buy the following items for a Polo MK6

How much???
An armrest for our Captur was £70!
For £330 I'd expect a topless model to hold my arm up for me.

You may need to, in order for them to supply one since your chassis number may not show it.
Also you will need the MY18 rear trim, the MY19 has a cutout for USB ports which aren't wired on the MY18 vehicles

Maybe need to check and see if the exact same arm rest (Maybe slightly different shade) for a different A0 based VAG is cheaper. I thought the arm rests were about £160.

Re: Parts to buy
After searching for months just found one as i speak on eBay for £135, Much better price.
However its listed as an armrest for a Seat Arona, Ibiza 6f.
I can clearly see its the same one as the ones in the polo.
Lets just hope it fits.

Yeah, I looked at the diagrams for the Ibiza and Arona beforehand and they do match. I would of done the same but since mine is a beats model I needed it in white!zdenek_kalok wrote:After searching for months just found one as i speak on eBay for £135, Much better price.

Pop the rear cubby hole out (imo the hardest part [emoji1787]) and you'll see some studs for the arm rest.zdenek_kalok wrote:That's fair enough just hope its gonna be a easy process fitting it in.![]()

Slide the seats forward and you'll see two plastic covers down the sides, pop them off and you'll see two holes.
Basically put nuts on studs and bolts in holes. Simple as that. I found the mounting kit mine came with didn't really fit very well so I just used regular nuts and bolts. I couldn't see what all the small clips and that where for, so didn't use those either.

Re: Parts to buy
I've seen a Seat dealer selling them for £95 for the Arona and Ibiza, which are the same mouldings as the Polo. Of course, there may be slight differences in colour, or major differences if you have a Polo Beats!
Alternatively, do what I did with my Fabia. Find a car with one being broken for spares on ebay, and buy that car's armrest. Cost me £30 and a little trip down to Stoke for mine, Skoda were charging £150 or so for the bits to retrofit it.
