How much time - approximately - it takes the oil temperature to reach 50 degree Celsius?

Depends how fast you're going - distance is a better measure - about 2 miles for water to get to 90C then a further 2 miles for oil to hit 50C.gegege wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 3:30 pm Hello,

for me it takes around 5-6km to 50C

My current 1.8tsi Leon (which is the same block as the Polo GTi) takes a good 2-3 miles (depending on weather\temps) to get the oil temp to 50c and then warms up from there to 90-100c pretty quickly.
