The Glovis spring is due to arrive in Dakar this morning

Getting there slowly. Hopefully it goes straight to Emden from here on...

I am waiting on a SEL. Dealer gave me the order number two weeks ago yesterday and it was already showing as having left the factory and showing in transit the first time I looked. It's still showing as in transit. I hope it's on the Glovis Spring and that I can take delivery, hopefully, around Easter time.

My App said the car had arrived in the UK. Excitedly tried to call the dealer...message left with reception and no return call. Guess it’s a couple of weeks between uk arrival and delivery. All in all 15 months between ordering in Jan ‘18 and arrival in April!

Couple of weeks between UK arrival and delivery? What, do they push the car on wheels from port of arrival to a dealership? It took 3 days for my car to arrive at the dealership after it arrived in Poland, less than 2 weeks from arrival at the Port of Emden to me driving it out through the gate.

I think a few guys on here have said it takes a couple of weeks from the UK port to actually driving away with the car. Got to love UK efficency...

Not sure why but the build time notice and completion has me hoping that mine is on the Glovis Spring.

I see the Glovis Spring will only be at Vigo, Spain on the 1st April. So not as thought in Emden for that date.

Just had notification from VW that my car has gone from stage 3 to 5 (built and in transit), meant to have been built last week (week 12), will call my dealer in a bit to see if there is any ship info yet.

And now the long wait for it to slowly make it's way to the UK begins!

IF any of our cars are actually on the Glovis spring I’d be looking at the end of April as a possible delivery date as there are several public holidays across Europe in the coming weeks which may slow the process. As the GS seems to be stopping off at several other places enroute from South Africa wont help matters

My dealer said it would be in Emden by the 1st of April but the next stop is Spain on the 1st. Definitely behind schedule.

Yep, for reference my order was built in week 10, dealer expects it no earlier than end of April

My dealer has just got in contact.
My car is on the grand dahlia.
Was built 13th march.
