Still waiting for build week for new GTI?

I'd have had a 135i or 140i if they weren't pig ugly.

Who the hell cares when they go and handle like they do.
RWD overrules looks, and I say that as someone who has had multiple Gti Golfs.
I miss my mate working at BMW, it was great when he took them home.

I really couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something that looks like a plumbers van. It's not as practical as the Golf, they feel pretty cheap inside (all BMWs 5 series and down seem to be like this now), and depreciation is horrendous. I could forgive a few of those points, but not the looks

Ordered my car on 28th Dec, had 5 updates since Mar 1st all saying the same thing, Your Polo has progressed to stage 2 or 7. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get a build week confirmed? I've contacted my retailer, she said apparently they update orders every Wednesday and Friday but still no word. My car is actually with the factor and scheduled for production, but that update was now 5 weeks ago

Anyone else been waiting this long or longer for a build week? Any info would be greatly appreciated, it's getting more and more frustrating as my service and insurance renewal is coming up too

I ordered 3rd January and still don't have a built week, but it was a 29 week lead time at that point so hopefully will get a build week next month

Shocking isn't it? Mine isn't even that bad to be honest, johnpolo2 has been waiting since January 2018...

Jeez, he must really really really want a Gti Polo......

I already have one albeit the 2015 model. [emoji6]
There were times that I wanted to cancel as I was annoyed at the lack of info.
I hung on because I wasn't that fussed about anything else and my current GTI is a nice car to drive with no issues and I'm not on pcp with time constraints.
