Hey!
See the images attached, when I am far from a wall, you can see that the (passenger) left low beam, has a higher flick up, compared to the right low beam.
I thought that both beams would have an equal flick up?
Does anyone know if this is correct or is there something wrong with my (driver side) right low beam?
Edit; they look much less different and more similar, the closer I am from a wall, also, if any other 2018 Polo owners with the halogen headlights, have the same pattern
Any and all help is appreciated.
Below are pictures, close to the wall, and further away, with a red highlight to show the difference
Do my polo's headlight beams look correct?

Aren't headlights aimed towards the kerb slightly and might this explain what you see?

I was aware that they flick up to point towards signs and to not blind oncoming drivers, never knew about the kerb thing thopeeceeuk wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 11:29 am Aren't headlights aimed towards the kerb slightly and might this explain what you see?

Re: Does my polo's headlight beams look correct?
In my understanding, both headlights should be the same level. Thus one of them is either too high, or too low.
Edit: I’m stupid. They are obviously level, they just have different light patterns. In HIDs you can adjust the focus, maybe halogens can too?
The kerb thing, hmm, mine has always shined straight. They seem to shine more towards the kerb, because of the “kink”. Not because of the direction.

Unfortunately, I can only raise or lower the headlights regarded to the load in the car, I cant focus them (at least what I know of)

Headlights are a big problem in the Polo, standard alignment is ridiculously low and dangerous.
Basically, just align them to your own tastes (as long as you're not dazzling anyone).
