I felt a bit sadgeeky so i did a full forensic examination of the image.. bear with me... its only 96kb

First an overview of the image.. poring over the reflections in the glass and paintwork reveals nothing, so lets move on to the surroundings, particularly those shown in the rectangle above.

hmm, is that your awning in the background, D/D?

have you seen this man? he is a dangerous escapee from a mental institution and is armed with a cheeky grin, shorts, and an alarming array of marital aids. if you spot him, do not approach, but call crimewatch crimestoppers with any information

those mk3s again, and the classic tin can

someone's silver mk3 (mk2 golf??), a mysterious roofbox, a fabia(?) and an S3(??)

just in case the GTi is the answer..

OK, still baffled by this... whats the answer

It's not gonna be something awful like "the porsche is a fibreglass fakie bodyshell with a G40 dropped in it, on top of an old bug chassis" (or morris minor) is it??

That is quite clearly Nelson_Wilbury's 9n Polo in the background with the roof box on, next to which would have been doug&dan's two cars??

ok i'll put you all out of your misery! put it has been interesting readying what people have put!

the 9n in the top right is of course nelsons car! with roof bars!

the roof box belongs to a certain understated perellied mk3! that would be envy!

then to the left of that, would be dan's 6n2 (which yoyu can't really c)

and to the left of that (which you can't c at all

) is my car!

but that sorta red thing in the background to the right of that woman walking past, well thats me!

i knew wearing a red t-shirt would be a good idea!

as for the rest, well i haven't a clue! that bloke i don't no, all the other cars we haven't a clue who they are!

if you squinty your eyes right up on the original image, you can see those with a bit more clarity (brain fills in the gaps). Yes, even the midsection of the mk3 (front obscured by foreground, rear obscured by doug

)

the red blob, well that would be me, there seems to be a few other people around!

this was at the VW expo in kent which i organised, twoz a shame not many others turned up! gonna do it again this year!!
