Brake pads

Post by MilgeS »

Just curious with my car waiting for replacement brake pads from Germany, are the pads different across the Polo range? I wonder if MonkeyHangers new car has the revised pads compared to the old ones?

My GTi still has the groany brake sound in reverse even though they chamfered the edges in the past, I'll be asking for those pads to be reviewed when it goes for service too.

I'll have to see if I can see if there's any difference between the brake pads, by looking between the wheel spokes. I'm sure I used to get the slight thud of the pads shifting around in the old one, but it seems to have stopped (or I have filtered it out of what I hear). The new White one doesn't seem to have ever had the thud from pulling away in forward or reverse.
