Polo boot

Post by EmiLiuZ »

Hi.

When ever I'm driving the boot will automaticly lock. That is kind of annoying when transporting passengers that they can't open the boot? Is there anyway to fix it?

So far I've had to shut down the car and then push the unlock button on the key.

Disable auto locking in the car setup menu maybe? You can unlock the doors\boot from the button next to the door handle, might take 2 pushes to unlock all doors\boot if you have the car set to only unlock the drivers door on one click.

If not in the MMI setup menu, then easily done using a tool like VCDS, but maybe your insurance company would need to be informed.
I accept that the way these cars have been set up at factory for years can be a bit annoying, but I really do try to remember when I need to unlock the boot, otherwise wife gets annoyed!!
