I don't know, with my BCM it is impossible to put the MKE channel in 0 value.
(even before loading the MKE data set)
0= inactive
1= active

Re: Benzinkopf's 2012 VW POLO 6R MK5 1.2TSI 105HP DSG
Hi Ciclo. so i just recently service my car and set the service to flexible as I would like to see if my driving style and our local weather condition can either prolong or shorten the oil change rather than fix it to 15,000km as promoted by the official dealer. So i put 7,500 km as minimum and 30,000 km for max.ciclo wrote:No.
after the reset and 500km driven, the next service mileage is up with 29,500km.
So, just to understand this flexible service interval system(nobody knows about this over here) Will the car start to countdown the next service based on this number(after first 500km evaluation) or it will continue the evaluation and keep changing the figure based on actual current engine oil condition?

It will continue the evaluation, but I also don't know exactly how the algorithm works to determine the remaining kms for the next service/inspección. (after many VW group cars)
I have my own personal algorithms to perform the next service/inspection/overhaul.

thanks ciclo. i studied the ssp224 for reference but its just not clear on the evaluation cycles part. anyway. will keep monitoring the suggested mileage.
the reason I’m on it, most “experts” here disagrees with the idea of 15k km interval which for them, in our hot & humid climate, the oil is being stretched too far. so the norm recommendation is always up to 7.5k - 10k max for a fully synthetic.
hence, knowing there’s a system that can evaluate the engine oil quality, i would like to see if it can tell me by 7.5k, i should change the oil or not for the sake of argument. lol.

regardless of vcds crashing with adaptation channel on 0 value, it works[emoji1360]

That time. trip computer was already 3Hrs+ and 300+kms. But. Within that 3Hrs, I already made a long stop after 1hr driving for lunch. I guess the stop was not long enough to reset the driving time no1.ciclo wrote:

Or maybe the system triggered the warning anyway as I was driving on low fuel[emoji1787].
