Just to share the wealth, I thought I'd mention that I spoke to the main UK importer for Pagid pads (performance braking Ltd), and they told me that pagid have discontinued their fast road line.. If you're needing a set and you want pagid you may want to get them soon, as the importers have run out, and the replacement line won't be available for a month or two.
Also for those with an import GTi, they don't share the 20mm thick disk with the UK spec cars, but a 25mm version (VW part Number - 6N0615301E) which, you've guessed it is only available through VW as it is only used on about 2 cars, and they're a bargain at only £67 each.. But if you need them, it's worth checking with your local VW garage with time to spare, as apparantly some dealers don't keep them in stock...
