Delivery Times

I ordered and placed a deposit for a new Polo in Jan 2019, and was told that the car would be delivered sometime between May and July (this year). Ever since the order has been "with the factory". The dealer (St Albans) has given various reasons for the delay, the most recent being that the factory is busy and my order is being kicked back because I have ordered one of the options. Does anyone know of similar instances, or got any idea when the car might appear? Not impressed.

You have not stated what version of Polo you have ordered, is it a SE, SEL, R line, GTI or GTI+. And you have not said what the option was?
If you have ordered a GTI / GTI+ then there is a page in the forum that will give you a gestimate of when you might get your New Polo, but don't hold your breath

I ordered a 1.0 automatic SEL with 5 extra options back in February this year and I have had a confirmed build week of 35 (26 August) in the last 2 weeks.

Originally my car should of been delivered for July.

It is a long wait for these cars at the moment.

Your dealer most have a estimate date they may start building it by now.
