wheel spacers?

Post by R15KXK »

Hello,

After lowering my car a while back, I need wheels spacers to improve the look... though I am not sure exactly what I need

The spacers themselves that sit between the wheel hub and back surface of wheel, and longer wheel nuts. How thick the spacer is will detrrmine how much longer the bolts need to be.

Bring the wheel out too much and it might snag the wheel arch under heavy damping. The standard bolts are around 27mm if I remember correctly - so if you want 12mm spacers you'll need 39mm long bolts (beyond the bolt head)

12mm front
15mm rear

will work perfectly and is still very conservative on oem wheels.

Will this be fine with my current 16" 6.5j wheels

Yes it will work.

I was running this size on 18" Brescias which are 7.5j.
You could go more aggressive on 6.5j wheels.
