Front VW Black Badge?

Hi,

Asking on behalf of a mate.

Is it possible to make the front VW badge on the Mk10 polo black even if the front assist sensor is behind it?

If anyone has any links to products out there or how they have done it it would be greatly appreciated.

Try buying a little bit of black wrap from ebay and apply. If it hinders the sensor then peel it back off likely to be less than a fiver. Or maybe some plastikote paint, that is peelable.

I think that you mustn't tune this sensor because its for your own safety!

I've been wanting to to the same thing, and i've been told that it's not good to wrap it as it will mess with the abs. However you can tint it and should be fine, I will be getting mine done in the next few days probably. Getting my rear one wrapped soon

Check out badgeskins.com, they have a nice option that I am considering.

My GTi has the front sensor, I fitted the German flag from Klii. Sensor still works fine so I think that a tint will also be fine.
