Hi all, new member here.
I'm about to view a 2012 1.4 Polo that hasn't had a cambelt change. If I buy I'd like to take a look at the condition of the belt prior to a rather long (and potentially nervous!) drive home.
Can anyone confirm if this engine has a timing belt cover that is removable for inspection without the aid of tools please
Many thanks.

The top section of the cambelt cover is retained by a few spring clips which just need eased off using a screwdriver and refitted using fingers.
