Hey everyone
Trying to smarten up my Polo 6C and want to change all exterior lights to led ones (daytime running lights, number plate lights headlights, rear lights).
Does anyone have a link for recommended ones as in the past have brought off ebay and still got error codes (on a different car)
Thanks in advance
Ant

Wouldn't it just be better to have the lamp monitoring switched off instead and then use whatever LED lamp you choose? Those decoders just seem to be resistor packs to fool the monitor. You'll never get a warning that a lamp is out with them in place, or that's how a see them working.

Can I turn off the lamp monitoring setting or is that a job for a VW Coder?2226 wrote: Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:44 am Wouldn't it just be better to have the lamp monitoring switched off instead and then use whatever LED lamp you choose? If you want reliable canbus error-free leds, talk to Trup at EM Tuning. He specialises in led upgrades for VAG cars. I got a set for my Audi, and they are excellent. I am just arranging a set for the 6C. No connection other than as a satisfied customer.

Re: Canbus Error Free LEDs
Yesterday i disconnected the connectors from the rear lights and i took no errors on my dash.
Do rear bulbs monitoring through canbus or not? (6C 2016 model). It is a strange thing. I red that canbus monitoring all bulbs at this model, so i surprised when i disconect the connector and i took no error message.
