Having topped up my tank for the second time it now monitors the cost of each trip but it doesn’t make any sense to me. It has shown a trip of almost 50miles with a cost of £0.94, a journey of about 8miles with a cost of £0.16.
My top up details are in and showing the price, quantity and litre price for each top up. I assume I have entered something in wrong somewhere or the value is a costing of a set distance or something because it makes no sense to me. Maybe if I log in online I may get a better picture of what it’s showing but the app is not clear to me if it’s right.

Hi john896,
Try calling customer service (tap the three dots at the bottom right corner of the home screen, scroll down to "App support"). I have used them , friendly and knowledgeable. Let us know how you get on.
I would expect the app to be somewhat precise, it is just arithmetics at the end of the day, and two tanks sounds too early for the app to be experiencing bugs. You know you can log in top ups manually?...

Thanks for your reply. I have used the manual data entry part and also the auto detect refuel and the fuel costing seemed a little low. Since my 3rd top up of fuel it looks to be a more accurate i would think with a 16 mile trip being £2.83 with the car running for 47 minutes so probably a bit more accurate given that it probably equates to 32mpg.EduardoPuente wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2019 9:29 pm Hi john896,

I will keep an eye on it and if it seems to be a bit low again i will have a look into contacting the app support. May have been just a little too early in the usage of the app to see any accurate data for running costs.

Re: We connect go fuel costs
Hi,
I think the previous version of the app was a pain to input data manually. Whenever you wanted to put data in manually, it had to be added in a specific order. If the order wasn't followed, and sadly it wasn't a matter of just going next before inputting, the in built calculator would auto-correct previously inputted data, altering 'price per litre' and 'total price' to ridiculous values.
There seems to have been a revamp of the app recently which has fixed this, which I found to be extremely frustrating. I'm sure I'll check that none of the values added alter by theirselves for a while yet!
