Auto door locking

Post by john896 »

It appears my doors don’t lock every time i drive my car. I was reading in the manual that the doors should lock when the car is driven over 10mph but mine seems to be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes they lock but not every time like I would expect. I cannot see any settings to select and use the same key each time I drive so it’s not like it can be remembering a different key for different settings like some cars do with seating positions and so on.

Don't think my doors have ever locked automatically.

There's a setting in the menus, something like "comfort locking"? If you haven't set it, it won't lock above 10mph.

Used to be called "anti- hijack" - must've sounded too scary for customers.

I also had this but in my case it was because I was in a rush when I left the house and picked up the other key. There are a few settings like this and also the layout of the active info display (if fitted) that are key-specific.
