Hi! I have a Vw Polo AW (2018) and I am wondering if it’s possible to retro fit apple car play? I have spoken to two dealerships to ask them if it’s possible but they say due to the reason that I have the smaller display it’s not possible. It’s not possible to change to the larger touch display either.
Does anyone know if It’s possible for me to get apple car play at all? Maybe with a usb dongle or something else?

Short of replacing the entire unit, I don't believe so. Some versions (no idea about which one you have) have the hardware there but not activated- if so, pressing the 'menu' button will show 'App-Connect' as an option, and it can be activated by the dealer. If that option doesn't show up, then you're stuck with what you have unless you want to replace the entire system.
