Re: Beats audio system installation
Did you eventually do the installation? I have a Composition Color and interested in upgrading too. Thanks

The Beats system comprises of:monkeyhanger wrote: Sat Apr 20, 2019 3:47 pm What exactly comprises the beats system? Is it just a plug and play bass box with badges for standard speaker grilles, or are the 6 speakers in the car upgraded? Is there a separate amp or uprated head unit?
If it's the former then the aftermarket version will be as good as the standard factory build.
* Different door speakers
* Subwoofer in the trunk
* Amplifier under the drivers seat.
I can find the ETKA diagrams and part numbers if you're interested?
I haven't heard a Beats Polo yet, but the standard speakers sound perfectly fine and bass'y enough for me. (Coming from a 6C with the Helix sub in the trunk).
The radio tends to sound like crap, but music from Apple CarPlay sounds noticeable better, and has very acceptable bass.

Totally agreed! Supported +Andy Beats wrote: Wed Nov 14, 2018 1:46 pm Don't know what the standard GTI stereo is like, but I have the 'beats' system and it's not all that spectacular.
TBH, I feel the bass it can generate is way too much for the build quality and materials in the car.
I like bass, but I've had to reduce it way down to under halfway.
If I go any higher and crank the volume up, the interior bodywork just starts buzzing/rattling.
It's not a fault with my car, it's just the sheer amount of bass the 'beats' system can generate, it's mental!![]()
I think you'd be better off spending money just upgrading the standard Gti speakers to aftermarket units.

With the bassy Beats system, there is an increased risk of buzzing / rattling interior trim.lonares wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2019 9:46 pmTotally agreed! I was also a little underwhelmed by the optional upgraded factory fitted Dynaudio system that I had in my mk6 Golf GTD. I don’t listen to music in my car at ear bleeding volume levels, and to fully appreciate the Dynaudio system, I found you needed to turn the volume up to a level that was too loud for me. I also struggled to find the optimum equaliser settings for whatever I was listening to.
I won’t be bothering with the Beats upgrade when I change my previous generation Polo GTI for a current model Polo GTI+. These days I listen mainly to DAB radio, and I find the sound quality for digital radio on the standard system to be pretty good - certainly good enough for me.
Re: Beats audio system installation
Good morning
I am looking for a wiring and installation diagram for a Beats amplifier in a Polo 2G0.
I bought a set of speakers, amp, woofer.
I don't know where to mount the amp and what wires to use?
Can you help?

Re: Beats audio system installation
Hey everyone!
I am interested in upgrading the speakers on my current VW POLO GTI+ 2019 model, the original just doesn't have the clarity nor the base I need and yes I like to listen to it extremely loud. Regarding the rattles wouldn't some sound deafening material resolve that issue? should give a more smooth baseline rather then having direct contact with the plastic.
