Air Filters

Post by RICHARD HARPER »

Does anyone know good air filters( forced induction kits) for 6n2 polo gti's ? i've been looking at bmc CDA and k&n 57i.

Was going to buy bmc one from gwent vw but not sure yet.
The car has a De-cat powerflow exhaust and cold air feed to standard airbox and the air filter(forced induction kit) would be the next step.

any one have any ideas of bhp output ?

i thought around 127 bhp mark.

Yeah, I think cyhliu will confirm that a Polo 6n2 GTi puts about about 132bhp or so, usually gives a couple more horses on optimax or ultimate fuel too.

You should defo get a BMC, every discerning GTi owner should have one :D

you know it Jon, BMC rules :¬P but ive got the cold air feed system off of the Pipercross sytem, cos its much better quality. Bmc cheaped out a bit on the tube they give you !!

exactly thats why i bought some other silicone tubing to use as bmc suply crumble! also its much longer and so can be fed to a real good location in the engine bay!
