VW POLO GTI Exhausts

Post by stuartrendall »

Hi,

Has anyone done or seen an exhaust modification to change the polo from a single twin exit to a duel quad exit exhaust system, similar to that of a Golf R?
Would be nice to see if its possible as in my opinion it would give more presence to the car.

Yes, it would definitely be tight. I'm sure it is still possible.

4 pipes is a bit OTT.

I used to have a Golf R and 2 of the pipes weren't being used 70%of the time (flap actuated under high load to open the outer 2 pipes) so as not to cause excessive drone.

I do wish they'd done something to make thePolo's pipes stand out, like a central pair.

Its less about the function to be honest and more about the road presence that I am bothered about in this instance, even if the exhausts are the same as the Golf GTI's would be nice. :D
