I've had no update on the app, and I don't expect one, I think the next app update will be 5b when the car arrives at or leaves Germany.
Ok that would make sense I suppose. I’ll chase my dealer later this week for an update on shipping.

Chased my dealer this morning, car is on the ship! Due to arrive in Germany at around the 20th February then he estimates 2/3 weeks to UK. SO hoping for a collection around the second week and a 2020 plate registered car!

(Still no app update, seems to be stuck on build week confirmed. Email updates still coming through!)

Assuming we’re all on the same ship!

For reasons unknown, mine is on a ship to Bremerhaven, due there around the 24th Feb (then on to Emden). But at least mine is direct to Germany, the Glovis Champion seems to be making other stops along the way :?

I would imagine when your vehicle was shipped either there was no demand from other ports for vehicles to be transported or the ship was simply at capacity where as this may not be the case with @sc-red. And I am currently waiting to hear from the dealer what ship my new Polo is on, could be the same as sc-reds.

Thanks, and good luck, let us know when you hear which ship yours is on. 8)

funny how everyone have build date and all that data. I have nothing. I oredered from Croatia, and they didn't give me any code or anything to track and recive info about my car.
If you go back to your dealer and ask for the VW order number and add this to the My VW app you will get most of the updates we have been getting. Or you can just ask the dealer to keep you informed every 2-3 weeks.

Although mine left the factory the same day, my car won’t be in Emden until next Saturday (7th) and will be a further 2-3 weeks from there. Watching sailing routes has aided my African geography, but just want my car now.

Mine still says with the factory on the app. What the experience on how long it takes to allocate a build date?
