Brakes not working
Hi all, sorry to be a pest. Polo (6c, 2016, 22k, 1.0mpi) wasn't driven for around 6 months (parked up) as the inlet manifold was cracked so finally got round to replacing it with a new one. When we started it, it started up fine but the rear left wheel was jammed (hand brake was down but the wheel was locked). Jacked the car up, took the wheel off and smacked the rear drum a few times to free it up. Everything was fine after that BUT the brakes are non existent. Brake pedal when driving sinks right to the bottom with next to nothing brake force applied. With engine running, i lifted the bonnet up and i can hear hissing noises every time the pedal is pressed down. Hissing noise seems to be coming from the ABS pump on the right hand side of the engine bay. Car also comes up with a message after pumping the pedal a few times saying brake fluid low but fluid is fully topped up. Anyone have any idea?

Air in the system perhaps? A good bleeding should help out.

Re: Brakes not working
You really do need to look under the car for brake fluid leaks, at each wheel, especially the rear ones, failing that maybe the brake mater cylinder has failed or its seals inverted.
If you can't address this issue easily, get it towed/uplifted to a garage that can repair this.
