Should I complain? Picked up polo last wk
Picked up my polo with 800miles on the clock last wk and was told it would be serviced the wk before and everything would be perfect. Asked for the invoice but dealership has been stalling. Also was told when I bought the car it was an ex vw car yet the tax was registered as disabled and it had a lady owner on the v5.

Hi,
With such low mileage on the car (800) I would guess this could be a mobility car registered for a client and the deal was cancelled. I’ve seen this before, so the car stays in the VW network rather than stock piled within the Mobility agency’s stock. Also the service record you’ve seen for December is usually the dealership putting the car through the pre delivery checks, so it would be odd to have this car serviced before you took delivery as it’s so new. As it’s a used car it should have the VW 142 pre check sheet included, so you must get that when the car is handed over.
The question of original owner is one to have out with the dealer as it shouldn’t affect the cars value who was registered before, but it’s the more issue around the dealer not telling the truth.
Good luck

Yeah I never got the das welt 142 check sheet as this was likely done back in December. As u say I’ve been told a few white lies and it does cos a trust issue now
