VW Polo 9N 2003 boot tonneau cover

Post by eldin.glova »

Hi guys,

As you can see on the photos, the boot tonneau screw broke on my Polo.

I hope that's the name for it? I'm really having trouble identifying what the broken part is called and how I can fix it, seeing it's not really a screw, but a plastic part.

All help is appreciated! Thx.

The previous owner of my Polo had the same thing break on both sides, so fixed the problem by putting in some wood screws. Works...

Had this problem earlier. As mentioned above, I used a couple of self tapping screws and a bit of Araldite adhesive.

It’s for the Rear parcel shelf strings.

Self tapping screws are the answer here but if you want OEM then you will need to buy a new rear screen interior trim complete

Thanks guys, using screws really did the trick. It doesn't even look bad! :)
